For a better understanding of the role of Brazil’s armed forces in the country’s political history, VirtuNews spoke to Vice-Admiral Guilherme Mattos de Abreu, Director of the Marshal Cordeiro de Farias Strategic Studies Institute at the Brazilian War College (Escola Superior de Guerra, or ESG).
